I. WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
A. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES warrants the structural integrity of the Salty Hoist’s aluminum top and bottom beams for a total of 15 years. The warranty starts from the date of installation by the installer to the primary customer or any other succeeding owner(s) of the property where the lift was originally installed as described in the sales contract.
B. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES warrants that the Salty Hoist purchased is used primarily for personal, family or household purposes shall be free from any manufacturer’s defects in material or quality for one year from the date of installation by the dealer.
II. WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
A. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES makes no explicit or suggested warranties on the Salty Hoist purchased or used for commercial purposes.
B. It is the Owner’s responsibility to pay for repairs after the warranty period expires.
C. The damage that is not MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES fault, such as, but not limited to loss caused by accidents, misuse, overloading oversight, modification, alterations or opprobrious conduct, is not covered by this limited warranty.
D. This Limited Warranty does not cover damage which is caused by improper product selection, improper installation, failure to follow applicable installation and maintenance recommendations, or inability to follow appropriate instructions or warnings.
E. Routine maintenance and recurrent service is the owner’s responsibility and is not covered by this limited warranty. Reach out to your contractor for information on service programs.
III. WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS
A. CONCERNING PRODUCTS PURCHASED OR USED FOR COMMERCIAL USE, MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES MAKES NO DIRECT WARRANTIES OR SUGGESTED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT-ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
B. ANY APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY APPLICABLE WARRANTY OF MERCHANT-ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF INSTALLATION FROM THE CONTRACTOR.
C. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES REGARDING ITS PRODUCTS EXCEPT AS DECLARED HEREIN. NO AGENT, EMPLOYEE, OR REPRESENTATIVE OF MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES HAS AUTHORITY TO BIND THE COMPANY TO ANY AFFIRMATION, REPRESENTATION, OR WARRANTY CONCERNING THE MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES PRODUCTS EXCEPT AS STATED HEREIN.
D. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
IV. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
A. Concerning products purchased or used for commercial purposes, MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES makes no direct warranties or suggested warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
B. Any applicable implied warranty, including any applicable warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in duration to one year from the date of installation from the contractor. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES makes no express warranties regarding its products except as declared herein. No agent, employee, or representative of MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES has authority to bind the company to any affirmation, representation, or warranty concerning the MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES products except as stated herein.
D. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
E. This limited warranty is valid only when such products are used under normal conditions of recommended use. This limited warranty does not cover replacement or repair of any part when damaged by acts of god, abuse, accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, repair, disaster, overloading, negligence, unauthorized use, improper installation, improper testing, improper product selection, failure to follow disclaimers and maintenance recommendations, or any case beyond the control of MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES.
V. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES RESPONSIBILITIES
A. MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES agrees to provide necessary components, materials, and labor to correct any warranted defect providing written notice is received by MARINE LUMBER AND DECKING SUPPLIES within the applicable warranty period, based upon terms specified below:
• 1 Year Labor and Parts (including motors and gears)
• 15 Year Structure
VI. THE OWNER HAS RESPONSIBILITIES
A. It is the responsibility of the owner to guarantee that each product is suitable for its intended purpose and that the conditions it will be used in are suitable.
B. The Salty Hoist may require seasonal maintenance, which is not covered by warranty. While the contractor or dealer may be outfitted to manage your service needs, periodic service may be performed by anybody qualified to do so.
C. A reasonable time for repairs must be allowed.

B. The owner should provide the following information in his or her written request, the type of product bought, the purchase date, event dates, contractor or dealer name, the problem or question and any other comments.
C. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
